Celebrate at the Tip of the Cape

July 4th in Ptown is crazy. July draws a crowd on the Cape anyways. When you combine a popular month on Cape with an amazing fireworks display and parade, there will be people everywhere! This year’s July 4th festivities in Provincetown are shaping up to be nothing short of amazing. The parade kicks off at 11am and fireworks start around 9:00 PM. Get your OOHS and AHHS ready! In between, you can bet that Commercial Street will be hopping and the beaches will be filled with people celebrating Independence Day. There’s always plenty to do and see!

Between the parade, dining at one of the many great local restaurants, a short stroll on the beach and then watching the fireworks out on the pier, the 4th seems to go by in a blur and out with a bang. The only two things I need to worry about this year is where to park and where to stay. Fortunately, our friends over at PTown Events have compiled a great list of all the public parking in Provincetown that can be seen here. Getting in early to park should be no secret. If you haven’t booked a room at the Crowne Pointe, you can certainly try the Brass Key and, if your unfortunately striking out at both, PTown.org has a list of places that also may have some last minute availability. Either way, I hope to see you in the crowds wearing your best red, white and blue!
