The warmer weather this weekend has me thinking that Spring is right around the corner. And then I look at the calendar and I realize that it’s only the second week in January. On the bright side, it’s the perfect time to make some mid-winter travel plans for next month. Yes, February is school vacation month, a time when resort destinations in warmer climates get congested and lift lines at ski resorts grow exponentially. But I’m not going to get discouraged! I got over the crowds a long time ago. You can’t survive on Cape Cod or Provincetown if you can’t hack it with the crowds.

Of course, there is a way to avoid crowds entirely. Go someplace that is neither warm nor wintery (at least not in the ski resort sense). Hmm, to where, you say? Why, Provincetown, of course (didn’t see that coming, did you?)! The perks? Well, aside from the lack of crowds and the awesome beauty that is winter on the beaches here, the biggest Perk (with a capital P) is…off-season rates! You can check out ours here. In fact, lots of restaurants, spas and shops here in Provincetown are doing everything they can to entice customers this time of year. Travelers seeking a little peace and quiet should absolutely book a week or weekend getaway now. Remember, we reopen just in time for February 16th and 17th, Valentine’s weekend!
