Provincetown and Patsy, A Perfect Pairing

Anytime, She’s Got You, Sweet Dreams, Walkin’ After Midnight and Crazy are just a few of Patsy Cline’s hit songs that helped make her famous before her untimely death at the age of 30. If you’re a fan of Patsy’s music or maybe you’re just looking for a memorable night out then you’ll want visit the Provincetown Theater for a holiday showing of Always….Patsy Cline, running now through December 16th. This amazing show, written by Ted Swindley and directed by David Drake, centers around the friendship between Patsy Cline and Louise Seger, a Houston housewife, a pen-pal and a lifelong fan. Julia Salinger (from The Laramie Project) plays Louise, and Laura Cappello (from You Can’t Take It with You) returns to the title role as Patsy. (Laura was highly acclaimed for her role as Patsy with the Cape Cod Theater Company back in 2017). The show combines raw emotion with reality as it give fans a glimpse of what it was like to see Patsy perform and how she touched the lives of so many fans. I hope you enjoy!
